I’m looking to buy a sony vaio with a blu ray player. What I’m wondering is since you have update the blu ray drive periodically, how do you do it on a laptop?

I’ve just got the above netbook, but daren’t update the browser to firefox 3. It is the basic model, with linux – is it ok to do so, or does it cause problems?
