Apple Iphone Popular in Next Generation

Apple iPhone is both a mobile phone as well as an iPod – made available within a sophisticated profile. Most of the features of the iPod are available in the Apple iPhone. A web browser, an organizer, a note taker and a camera make the Apple iPhone highly versatile in its capabilities and one of its kind. This revolutionary “handset-cum-iPod” combines the best of hardware as well as software features and is empowered to realize quite a few fantasies of tech-savvy users. As a matter of fact, the high-end functionalities of the Apple iPhone make it immensely popular among ‘next-generation’ users who are interested in trying out the latest gadgets – as soon as they hit the market.

Some features of the Apple iPod has been substituted and made all the more user-friendly in the Apple iPhone. The inaccuracy of the round click-wheel of the Apple iPod, for instance, has been done away with. The click-wheel has been replaced with a touch screen featuring Cover Flow in the Apple iPhone.

Users could take advantage of the Cover Flow feature to flip though their collection of music files. Another merit of the iPhone is that the quality of audio is quite good. There is a built-in speaker that reproduces a range of audio frequencies during audio or video playback.

A physical mute switch is located above the rocker volume control. Users could use this switch to set the phone ringer and other audio signals to ‘vibrate.’ The Apple iPhone comes with earbud headphones; users need to just pinch these buttons to pause the music during incoming calls. However, there are some demerits to using the Apple iPhone as well. Users cannot copy files directly to the device. A direct access to a file system or a command line is conspicuous by its absence.

32Gb Ipod Touch 3Rd Generation Best Purchase

*** 32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation User Reviews…

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation – Upgrading from iPod touch 1st Gen, Wow!

The 32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation is just fantastic compared to my old 8 GB 1st gen iPod touch that still works-though with its limitations. The speed of this new one is so many times faster than the old one, now wi-fi web surfing is very usable with quick page loads within a few seconds.

Other internet apps also load data and screens almost immediately. This alone makes me wish I upgraded sooner. But the new features go way beyond speed…32 GB memory ample for much more music, videos, pictures, apps. Very useful built-in speaker (wish it was louder sometimes), and the new earbuds and mic capability for voice, recording and skype calls.

The included apple earbuds have fairly weak bass response, putting on foam earbud covers helps a lot with the bass. My rating is 4.5 stars–Hoping Apple adds Flash support, doubles the memory, and camera/video capability in the next generation of the iPod touch.

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation – My Favoritest Gadget Ever!

I got my Apple 32gb ipod touch 3rd generation on Saturday (1/20/10) and it has already proved to be my new best friend.

In no time I had all my music on my computer downloaded – although I have a ton more to go (I’m taking music from cassette’s and putting them on the computer – then to my Ipod) :) .

My calendar has all my appointments in it and by setting the notification alert – it already saved me from being late for one and it reminded me of a birthday I would have missed.

Since I love to read – it was a breeze to download Kindle for Iphone / Ipod and add several books (free books at that) – it’s almost too easy to read the books on this mini computer. Thanks to the timed shut off – it shut itself off when I fell asleep reading last night. Totally awesome.

My mail is all set to go to my iPod and I have received several already. Even the junk mail. :( But I have already sent several emails with this toy and gotten responses back. Nice . . . .

My contacts synced with my email contacts and I’ve added more – which in turn synced with the email account. Too easy.

With the weather icon, I can keep track of the weather in all the cities that my family and friends live in.

I’m not much of a gamer – so I haven’t downloaded any games yet, but give it time.
Everything that can be thought of is available out there as an app for this thing.

I bundled my 32gb ipod touch 3rd generation with the Ematic 11 in 1 Accessory kit and have already used the ear phone splitter and house charger, as well as the screen protector. Husband put on the screen protector and did an awesome job. I used the included back cover until my leather one got here.

I also got the Encore Music Power charger – charged that up, took it to work with me last night and recharged the battery on my Ipod so I could continue reading my book on break.

It is not a phone – although there is an app for that, :) and it does not take pictures (that’s what a Nikon Cool Pixs is for) – but I loaded it with pictures that I wanted to share with family and friends and they look great. So easy to zoom in and out.

In all, I would recommend this to everyone – it is super easy to use – not to mention a really cool gadget.

32Gb Ipod Touch 3Rd Generation

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation – Great Toy

32gb iPod touch 3rd generation is one of the best toys I’ve ever owned, and although I wish it weren’t quite so expensive, I still think it was well worth the money.

So far I only have 3 “cons,” and two are mentioned elsewhere: The fact that voice commands only work with the headphones that come with it (and those headphones hurt my ears), and it only works with those headphones if you squeeze the thing on the cord. The other thing is that only the umbilical cord that comes with it works — the old ones don’t, so some charging accessories don’t either. I also miss the little squeeze buttons on the sides of the old cord — I feel like I’m forcing this one in, rather than gently snapping it in.

The third thing is that I wish it was easier to pause and play, as I often listen to audio books, so missing some words is more critical than missing some music. In order to pause you have to touch the home button, slide across the screen to unlock it, then click pause. If it’s sideways at the time I find it difficult to get it to pause the first time (the pause “button” is miniscule), so I usually turn it right side up and then hit pause. Doesn’t sound like much unless you are already multi-tasking…then it’s a pain in the butt.

Improvements over my iPod Classic: Volume adjustments on the outside of the case and an off button (which I’m still working on remembering). There are also some great apps, which was what helped me make the decision to purchase the 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation over the Zune. It’s also slimmer and lighter than my classic, and although the screen resolution doesn’t seem to be quite as sharp as my classic, it’s a whole lot bigger for watching movies. Also, again for audio book listeners, being able to “fast forward” and “rewind” is a HUGE improvement. The old ones only fast forwarded 20 seconds at a time, and didn’t rewind at all. The 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation  has a slide so you can skip around much, much, much easier, which has eliminated a lot of frustration from accidentally hitting the “next” button.

Then Internet browser seems to fly on my wi-fi, too.

I love everything else about 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation. Of course I always wish for longer battery life, but not at the expense of size, which was a big selling point for me.

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation  - iPod Touch Is Fantastic!!

The main reason I bought the 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation was because my old mp3 player ran out of Gigs. So I upgraded and this was the best decision I made. The best features are the multiple playlists, the genius song selection option, and all of the cool apps. If you love music, and know tons of songs get the iPod touch

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation  - Also Missing

Why oh WHY did Apple NOT add the Camera feature to this already slick little device? I think ‘that’ would have been a grand addition to an already fantastic product. The opening for it is RIGHT THERE!! Just like the iPhone.

I’ve had the 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation  for a year now, when it first came out & find it absolutely amazing. Upgraded to their 3G software, another great feature. (Although it wasn’t free :-| ) I just thought, or rather hoped they’d do some forward thinking before the release of their newest 32gb iPod touch 3rd generation and include the camera functionality… Would’ve been nice.

3Rd Generation Ipod Touch Consider Before Buy

3rd Generation iPod touch – Very Pleased With This Purchase

3rd generation ipod touch was a gift for my husband, and he really likes and is enjoying this iPod (as is our kindergarten-age daughter!). As one would expect, Apple has not made it super user-friendly for Windows users; but – with a little effort – that can be dealt with fairly easily.

I’ve been really impressed with Apple’s iPod support team…very helpful people. One of the big pluses for the iPod is how it can be used as a remote to control music being played in other parts of the house. And, we like the wireless download option a lot. (We also have the 160GB iPod Classic that doesn’t have that option, so it’s easy to appreciate the difference that makes.) I would definitely recommend 3rd generation ipod touch to others.

I didn’t get the iPhone because my husband has a work-provided BlackBerry that made it unnecessary. However, if there was not a work-provided phone involved, I would probably recommend just going for the iPhone instead of the iTouch to get both of those functions in 1 device.

3rd Generation iPod touch

An amazing device. I got my daughter the 3rd generation ipod touch 32gb so she can add video and music and it has worked well. The only real problem has been with linking to the internet, YouTube, web browser, etc. Just can’t make it happen. No matter what we tried, articles we read, or asked advice…we could not get it to link wireless. That aside, a great device.

3rd Generation iPod touch – This Was a Gift iPod touch

3rd generation ipod touch was one of the best gifts I ever gave my son. He is in a band and he is able to put his music and some pictures on the iPod so he can share when he talks about the band. He took it to Bogata for Christmas and was able to show family there. He has shared some apps with me, to put on my iPod. Love this technology even it old foggies like me can’t always figure it out!

3rd Generation iPod touch – Amazing Machine!

This 3rd generation ipod touch does it all. It’s sleek design makes it even more enjoyable to use than the iPhone which is slightly larger in thickness. 3rd generation ipod touch is one great device. Nothing else on the market even comes close to this. Be sure to buy at least a 32gig if you plan on putting movies on it as movies take up lots of memory. I highly recommend 3rd generation ipod touch to anyone. I bought it for my six year old and she works it like a pro. It was her favorite Christmas present!

3Rd Generation Ipod Touch Save $20 To $55 + Free Shipping

*** 3rd Generation iPod touch Customer Reviews…

3rd Generation iPod touch – Great, Make Sure You Turn Volume Down

3rd Generation iPod touch is a great ipod. maybe not worth the money but close. The one thing i want to warn people about is that the 3rd Generation iPod touch automatically comes with the volume defaulted at the maximum. The problem with this is that if you do not turn it down your sound quality when you plug it into your car AUX or any other sound system for that matter is very poor. The sound quality is so bad that i returned the first one i bought.

Amazon was awesome and replaced it for free. I obviously thought there was something wrong with the 3rd Generation iPod touch but there wasn’t… sorry Amazon for not realizing this problem before returning it. I almost returned the 2nd ipod touch but realized the volume was maxed out and tried turning it down and that solved all sound quality problems.

The sound quality is great now. I do think that the volume should be set at 50% upon shipping or at least something below maximum volume. Thats just stupid. Great devise!

3rd Generation iPod touch – Very Fun. Not Just An MP3 Player

Though it is more expensive than even MP3 players of a higher storage capacity, the 3rd Generation iPod touch is so much more than just an MP3 player. I’m having tons of fun with all the applications. I also have utility applications, which I use quite often. If you have the money to blow, and are in the market for a very enjoyable portable device, this is a way to go. iTunes does take some getting used to, but after a month or so of using it I think I’ve got the gist of it.

———————————————————-

3rd Generation iPod touch – Fun product

This is a fun little toy!!! My husband loves it and I gave it to him for his birthday. He liked it so much and showed me how much fun you can have with it as well has having a calender to keep track of what you are doing each day, an alarm to wake you up or remind you of upcoming events, that I had him buy me one for my birthday. It is in the mail as I speak.

———————————————————-

3rd Generation iPod touch – A MUST HAVE

Dont waste your money on an iphone. This little baby does EVERYTHING except makes its own internet connection. (obviously, its not a cellphone) Its so easy to sync with itunes. Only a few minutes to set up and its ready to go. The price is unbeatable…you can go $199 for the 8 gig or get 4x times the storage for only $100 more dollars.

I do wish it had a cam, but honestly….I can live without that. Big-time battery life as well. Apple has outdone themselves with the 3rd Generation iPod touch!!!

———————————————————-

3rd Generation iPod touch – Amazing Product

the new 3rd Generation iPod touch doesn’t have really any new features other than increased storage and processing power. i wish apple would have put a camera on it but otherwise an amazing and fun ipod. many games and cool apps. i love the wifi and the speed of the iPod is almost comparable to a computer (for loading webpages and starting up/using apps).

for $280 and free shipping it was the best price anywhere but wish the shipping could have come faster. i ordered through the amazon store and ordered on a sunday, didnt ship until tuesday, then didnt arrive til a week later.

all in all an very fun new iPod with really cool apps and I love the speaker and video playback/quality.

Touch 8Gb Ipod 3Rd Generation Yes This Is An Improvement Over The 2Nd Generation Ipod Touch

First of all, let’s get the whining out of the way. No, there’s no camera on this touch 8GB iPod. But honestly, do you really need that cruddy 640×480 video camera they put in the iPod nano for your iPod touch? Do you really not have a camera on your cell phone?!?!

I didn’t need a camera. I have a nice camera on my mobile phone and I barely ever use it (I suspect because I’m not a MySpace user). However, I was happy to see the improvements they DID make to the new touch 8GB iPod 3rd Generation.

* Faster CPU. This means that games, web surfing, and apps run 50% faster, and it’s noticeable when you go from the older model to the newer one.

* OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics. Soon there will be games that offer advanced effects, and this touch 8GB iPod will be ready for it. At the time of this writing there are only three games with Open GL ES 2.0 support, but eventually you will be required to have it to use some apps. I’d rather have it than not have it. Besides, water, shadows, and other things look great with it.

* New earbuds with mic/remote control. Now you can control the iPod touch without looking at the screen, and use apps like Skype and Shazam without adapters. Very handy.

* Voice commands. You can use the mic to control your music. Press and hold the button on the mic to enter Voice Command mode, then say “Play artist _______” and it will play that artist. You can also ask “What band plays this?” or say “Play album _______” and it will comply. The voice recognition is very impressive, and the voice that speaks back to you is understandable, even if it mispronounces some things.

* Louder speaker. The built-in speaker sounds better to me. Louder, and much more clear when playing music or game sound.

There are also a few things that are in this touch 8GB iPod that are not in earlier models, but has yet to be “activated” by software. These include an FM receiver, FM transmitter, and 802.11n transmitter. Apple will no doubt sell us a future software update that will include a radio tuner, 802.11n support, and possibly even the ability to broadcast with the built-in FM transmitter from your touch 8GB iPod and other model to your car stereo without a third-party accessory.

So yeah, this is an improvement over the Touch Gen 2 model. I’ll trade all those features for a camera any day!

And of course, everything that was in the Touch Gen 2 is here as well. Bluetooth support with the 3.0 software (nothing like wireless headphones for your music!), physical volume control on the left side of the iPod touch, nice screen, lots of storage space, and amazing support when it comes to accessories; This has the same form factor as the Touch Gen 2 model, so you should have no trouble finding a case or docking device to work with it.

If you’ve already got apps and iTunes Store purchases that you’d like to keep using, this is a nice upgrade. You get a lot of power in this little pocket computer… And the music playback quality is quite good, too!

touch 8GB iPod – For First-Time iPod Touch Buyers, It’s Amazing!

I just bought the touch 8GB iPod 3rd generation and it’s truly an amazing gadget! I was upgrading myself from a shuffle and was holding out until the 3rd generation of Touches was released. I am a working mother with two children under 5 and don’t have time to listen to music (except for the radio in the car) or read or even be organized. I need a personal assistant! Enter the touch 8GB iPod! It’s a mini computer that is helping me stay connected to the web via free wifi with an amazing array of productivity and lifestyle apps to make my life better.

Within 3 minutes of opening up the package, I was connected to iTunes, the device recognized my wireless connection at home and I was surfing the web at lightning speed (much faster than my laptop). The fact that there is no learning curve is remarkable. Many of the apps seem to work better on the touch 8GB iPod than they do on a regular computer screen. A couple of clicks and screens and you are all set up and on your way!

This is another life-changing piece of technology like DVR. The best $300 I have ever spent on a gadget.

Ipod Touch 3Rd Generation 32Gb My Impression

This iPod touch 3rd Generation is a small baby step upgrade since the 2g ipod last year. It is an incredible device. I have only owned the horrible 2007 unrevisioned) iPod Classic before, so this review will not relate to previous iPod touches that much- except for the few times I visited the Apple store to play with them.

Let’s begin with packaging itself. Opon opening it from the mail and peeling a white film off of it, I was faced with a rather thin, wide, clear container. The iPod touch 3rd Generation was clipped with plastic holders, and I had to uncomforably try to pry it out. I decided to stop and searched for unboxing videos on the internet.

Apparently the clips were stuck to a plastic bottom. Flipping it over, there was a photo that instructed me to bend the plastic so the clip popped out. Hmmm… maybe this should have been written on the bottom of the container… My Classic’s container was black, made of thick cardboard and rather large. It was cusioned in foam with a circle cut out for it’s scroll wheel. All I had to do was take off the lid (with a great feeling “suction”) and it was over.

Although both packages were attractive, I felt that the iPod touch’s container was less “official” looking. I also had to peel a sticker off the screen of the Touch that depicted what it would look like if it was turned on. The sticker looked bland, static, and unprofessional in general. I would’ve perferred a regular clear film.
The box comes with:

1. The iPod Touch
2. One of those docking plastic things
3. Earphones with a mic and volume control (Same old “comes-with-iPod-earphones” quality)
4. A very brief instruction manuel.

The instruction booklet recommends you go to their website to learn more about how to use the iPod. Otherwise, many of it’s features will be unknown. When first starting up the iPod, it simply displays an icon that says to connect the device to iTunes.

Other functions are completly locked until the connection. This is a plus for the users that might be naive enough to ignore the drections and be clueless about how to transfer the actual song into the device.

I was greeted with a remarkably sharp and bright screen after peeling the sticker I mentioned. It is the resolution and had not changed since the first and second generation iPod touches, except for the someone golden tint compared to the second generation’s blueish tint when viewed from the side. The multitouch interface is very different from the annoying 2007 Classic scroll wheel. The screen does respond somewhat poorly at times, touching an icon with no avail, but seeing that none of the others users had said this, maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to it.

To say the least, this thing is SEXY!! The iPod touch 3rd Generation is extremely thin, and the contoured back fits very well in the hand. The silver back, like the Classic, scratches so easily and is a fingerprint magnet. If you are a perfectionist like me, get a case or shield. I hate Apple for making another iPod with the scratchable back, but I also have to give them credit for contouring it.

The device seems so much thinner when it is rounded, and it is human nature to look around the edges and to not focus on the center. (Which is, of course, the thickest part of the iPod.)I really liked the home screen button design on the front and also liked the fact that it has a physical volume controller for lowering and increasing volume without having to look during jogs. The volume conrtols are raised, clickable buttons on its left side, and there is also a raised on/off button on the top- left of the iPod.

I was however, dissipointed because of the battery life. I’m not sure whether I can compare the battery life to my former Classic, I’m not sure if I might sound idiotic for saying this, but I’ll say it. I played games for maybe an hour, or less. And the battery was already half gone. Maybe it wasn’t an hour, I was just guessing. But I know for a fact that is is significantly less than my Classic. Maybe thats what they left out. The iPod has internet connection, a sharp screen, fast processor- and I wondered how they did it.

They most likely comprimised the battery. It’s not awful as my LG Chocolate phone I had two years ago. But it wasn’t as good as my Classic. Come to think of it, my Classic was pretty fat, but I would have easily negotiated battery life for thickness for my touch. I’ll probably change my mind later, when I’ll have enough willpower and courage to actually put this fragile thing in my pocket!

The operating system in general runs suprsingly well with no lags experienced even on my large Compaq computer. It switches from Safari to games smoothly. Speaking of Safari, I was amazed how a device so small performed so well. Google searches loaded in the matter of literally one second, and it was able to display Java and Flash. The pinching and unpinching is better than the zoom and unzoom options on most mobile web browsers. The keyboard is annoying- but this will probably take more than two days to practice. Apparently the iPod touch 3rd Generation 32 and 64 GB are gaster than the 8 GB one- and that was partly why I chose the 32 GB instead of the 64GB.

The greatest thing about iPods— Apps! Apps have such a large variety of uses- from games such as Sudoku and air hockey to genuine uses such as a state capitals quizzer to a food recipes database. Some of them are free while others range from about $10 to $0.99

In all, I love my iPod touch 3rd Generation already. It’s beautiful, it runs so fast, and it has a TOUCH SCREEN! The apps, internet, music, and videos are all exclusively on this one device. Apple has done it , again.

Touch Ipod 3Rd Generation Warnning For New 8Gb 3G Owners And Ipod Touch 3G Review

Before I start let me just tell you “what’s New” with the touch iPod 3rd generation(some time I call iPod touch that touch iPod) :

-Faster Cpu/Double the ram/Better graphic (faster Boot time/faster loading is all what i did notice)
-Double the storage for the same old price
-Voice control (I’ll explain it in a second)
-Latest firmware for free
-New Earbuds with built in remote+Microphone (So you can use voice control)

And that is everything~ depends on your needs upgrading from 2G to 3G might be not worth it.

*Important Note* : only the New touch iPod 3rd generation are 32GB/64GB (8GB is repacked 2G) Details below.

About the new Voice control function, if you love to take your iPod with you to the Gym the new feature “Voice control” is pretty cool, it does allow you to control your music via your voice, no need to get the iPod out of your pocket you can simply say “Next” to move to next song, say “shuffle” for shuffle , say “Pause” and music playback will stop etc, that is why i recommend the iPod touch over iPod classic for gym users, my friend bought an iPod classic and now he complains that the iPod classic is too heavy for him when he goes to the gym and he will have to buy another iPod “properly Nano” for his Gym, for me i use my iPod touch for the gym, it’s so light that sometimes I forgot that it’s even in my pocket.

After playing with my touch iPod 3rd generation for a while I honestly did not notice any difference from the outside or the inside compared to my old iPod touch Second generation (It’s supposed to be faster but i did not notice anything during music and video playback or the menus, however browsing with safari and loading facebook was faster, same thing with boot time), you properly can only notice it being faster with heavy applications since video/music playback is already fast enough with 2G.

I got the 64GB touch iPod 3rd generation for [...]$, if you think of upgrading your 2G iPod touch honestly do yourself a favor and save yourself the money unless you really need that much of a storage (I do that is why i bought one), also remember that the 3G battery lasts less than 2G,(3G battery = 30 Hours of music playback versus 2G 36 hours of music playback according to apple official specs)

*VERY IMPORTANT* for the people who wants the new 8GB version, the new touch iPod 3rd generation 8GB is NOT 3G it’s a second generation iPod touch but apple did repack it/renamed it to 3rd generation, which seems to be misleading by APPLE and it’s not cool at all, it is IPod Touch 2G+Updated firmware and that is it.

The touch iPod 3rd generation 32GB/64GB versions comes with a free mic+remote with the earbuds while the 8GB do not (it comes with normal earbuds), the 32GB/64GB have the New CPU+Graphic (According to apple the new cpu is twice as fast just like the iPhone 3GS) while the new 8GB use the same old CPU/Chip from the old iPod touch second generation.

Here is APPLE description on the iPod touches page about the 32/64GB versions : “”"Enjoy all the great features of the 8GB model along with better performance, richer graphics and voice control”"”

The touch iPod 3rd generation is the same awesome touch iPod second generation was.
You can play your music/watch your videos/play games, even read your kindle books/etc “you can read amazon big description of what it’s capable of if you do not know yet, it’s better than what would i say because it has pictures and everything.

The touch iPod 3rd generation got the best browser I have ever seen in a portable device, I do not even need to carry my netbook with me anymore thanks to my iPod touch, if you hated browsing with lame browsers that crash a lot or slow (many mobile phones) trust me on this one, the iPod touch browser is not a toy or a gimmick it is a browser you can depends on, it’s super fast and smooth and after using it for like a full year it has only crashed on me once!

Short list of pros and cons about the this touch iPod 3rd generation

Pros:
-Slick,small and light device
-Great touch screen
-The BEST web browser on a portable device
-Amazing video/music playback
-App Store (Too many cool applications for Free)
-Display screen is clear and bright
-No bugs and annoying stuff a very reliable hardware
-64GB Flash based mp3 player

Cons:
-Not much of an upgrade over 2G (people were disappointed because they did not get upgrades like camera/OLED/etc)
-Weaker battery, only lasts 30 hours for music playback versus 2G iPod touch 36 Hours music playback
-Expensive for the 64GB version
-Still no FM radio without the use of online applications
-Bluetooth is still half locked

Update : one more reason to avoid the 8GB ipod touch, Apple announced today “April 09 2010″ that iPhone 4.0 OS will be released this summer and it will bring many new features to the iphone and ipod touch, however some features like Multitasking will only be available for iphone 3GS and higher or touch iPod 3rd generation and higher (As i said before the 8GB is second Generation only, a touch iPod 3rd generation 8gb do not exist! so you wont be getting multitasking if you buy the 8GB ipod touch),
