Apple Ipod is the Best Audio Player

The latest brand iPod portable media players designed and marketed by Apple Inc. was launched in 2001. Known for its capacity to record and store songs in much large number than other media players, it also serve as external data storage devices.

It is possible for the user to transfer music to the devices with the help of Apple’s iTunes software. The user can also transfer photos, videos, video games, and calendars to iPods, making it more technically more sophisticated. The Apple iPods have created a record by making a sale of 110 million unit’s world wide making it the best digital audio player that ever had got launched in history.

It was the during the manufacturing of various electronic devices like digital cameras, and camcorders, that Apple came to know the clumsy useless condition of musical devices making them to get into the production of iPods an alternative to the existing media players. It took around one year for Apple to get the product developed and launched. On October 23, 2001, Apple unveiled iPods with the caption “1000 songs in your pocket,” which was an instant hit in the market.

iPod was named by Vinnie Chieco, a freelance copy writer and was demonstrated in the public for the first time in New Jersey in March 1998. But it again took two years to begin the commercial use. It was in November 2003, the trademark got registered. Apple Inc. launched its first limited edition iPods in December 2002. Later a special edition of its fourth generation monochrome iPod was introduced by Apple.

Apple also had to face criticisms as the advertised battery life was found differing from the original one. It was resulted with a couple of law suits getting filed against the company which was later settled by offering a free battery replacement.

If you do not know your destination, the device will guide you to it. It’s that simple and it really works.

Speech recognition is probably one of the greatest things that a GPS system could have. You do not have to waste time entering the address on the device; you just have to attach a special remote to the steering wheel. This is mandatory in order for the speech recognition to function. Once you have installed the remote, you can start giving voice commands to the Garmin GPS.

The speech recognition feature has been especially welcomed by new drivers, as they can finally concentrate on the road. A GPS system can also come equipped with Bluetooth, allowing one to connect it to the cell phone. There are many advantages when it comes to purchasing a Garmin GPS, one of the best navigational systems out there. The latest models on the market provide the user with direct access to MSN services. This means that one is able to find out about a lot of important things right from the GPS system.

Your GPS system can bring all this information to you and without any delays. The highly efficient Garmin GPS is perfect if you are interested in all the things mentioned above. Plus, you will be informed about any traffic jams, detours or other problems. It can even tell you when a certain movie is playing at the cinema, what stocks are up and present you with a detailed map of all festivals. What more could you wish from a GPS system?

If you have ever used a GPS system before, then you will certainly notice the difference that the Garmin GPS brings into picture. We are talking about the possibility plan a trip using various Internet resources (including Windows Live Local) and transferring all the information regarding your destination (or route) to the GPS. As for MSN direct services, prepare yourself to discover a wide range of information presented for various cities. This GPS system is so much more than functional, it represents a dream come true.

And how about the display? What do you say about an impressive 4.3 inch display that adjusts accordingly to day or night time? Best of all, the display has an integrated touch screen that increases the functionality of the GPS system to an even higher level. You can either choose to enter the destination on the touch screen or speak it out loud. It’s your choice and it’s great to have a Garmin GPS as your travel buddy, isn’t it?

Ipod Touch 64Gb Best Purchase

*** iPod touch 64GB Customer Reviews…

iPod touch 64GB – Very Nice, I’m glad I made the purchase

I recentaly bought myself an iPod touch 64GB because my 8gb iPod Touch couldn’t hold all my music, and I absolutely made the right choice getting the iPod touch 64GB. In addition to being an excellent way to take my music with me wherever I go, this handy gadget has a fairless useless, but extremely fun, microphone, the ability to use apps, and wonderful Wifi capabilities. I would definitely recommend this product, as long as you don’t mind investing a bit of money into you iPod.

——————————————————–

iPod touch 64GB – Great Media Player, so-so for business use

First off let me say, I am not an Apple fanperson. Never have been, never will be. The iPod touch 64GB is my first iPod device ever. I cannot say that I am in love with it, but I will definitely say that it is has proven nifty in more ways than one since I got it.

Ok, let’s get this out of the way: Video and Music. Videos are clear and smooth. You can use the built-in Wi-Fi on your home or office network to browse the web and YouTube directly. That itself is pretty smooth. You can also purchase music directly from the iTunes store over Wi-Fi and load them directly to the phone. Overall I’d say this is pretty similar to the experience I have on my Palm Pre.

One thing the iPod touch 64GB has over my Pre, however, is the huge amount of applications available for it. I’ve been able to download apps for many things: Math Quizzes for my children, Duke Nukem 3D for my husband, oh, and also for toting around and viewing work related documents.

Another feature of the iPod touch 64GB and another model is that you can use iTunes to sync with your calendar. The iPod will already check your e-mail automatically for you whenever it detects an available Wi-Fi network. The ability to sync your calendar can be pretty useful, but I still prefer the automatic sync that my Palm Pre offers.

Over all I rate this device as 4 stars. If it was billed as only a game, music, and video device I’d probably have given it 5 stars. But with all the hype I was really hoping for something more useful for business use.

Ipod Touch 32Gb Always The Best

iPod touch 32GB User Reviews…

Apple always send out the best products, there is almost no doubt about this. This applies to all it’s products, including this iPod touch 32GB third generation. It’s sleek design makes for an excellent gift for all ages, or just to reward yourself.

The only lamentation I have is the lack of customization; I’m currently waiting to hack mine to customize many aspects of the product. This is the only complaint I have and it is easily fixable if it is your complaint as well. Considering this, 5/5 stars for the iPod touch!

iPod touch 32GB

I have had the iPod touch 32GB for about a month now. the first one had problems with charging so amazon sent another one with 1 day shipping. so far nothing bad has happened. I would recommend buying invisible shield and a protective covering if you want to keep it in good shape. only thing that bother me is the battery life.

while playing games it drains a lot of battery. I usually have it charge it everyday which seems like a lot. other then that its almost perfect, I can listen to my music, watch movies, play games and search on the internet. amazon has the cheapest price for the iPod touch. i use the iPod everyday 270 free shipping with no tax.

iPod touch 32GB – All the fun of an IPhone without having to deal with AT&T

I purchased this iPod touch 32GB a month ago, and couldn’t be more pleased.

Pros:
1) All the Apps of an IPhone without AT&T
2) Connects to wireless networks easily.
3) Internal speaker that I didn’t realize was built in is very nice and has good volume
4) Controls and set-up are very easy to navigate.
5) MUCH less glitchy than the 1st gen IPhone I bought (and 2 months later sold) back in 2007.
6) Battery life is fantastic.

Cons:
1) I cannot at this time connect it to my Linux based computers, so I still have to keep Windows(yuck) on one of them for now.
2) Only charging option (that comes with unit) is via computer (which has to be on). You can buy after-market charger plugs for under $10.

Still, I view this product as a 5 star.

The Best Kindle Covers For My Kindle 2

I took the plunge! I have pre-ordered mine new Kindle 2 two weeks ago. My new expected Kindle arrives on Tuesday February 24th (according to the shipping tracker). I am already convinced I want now to find the best cover for it. There are several places, also there is a fairly good discussion of the different kinds of covers available, but I am not sure about what’s the best.

Now  is available a wide variety of Kindle 2 accessories, including new covers from Cole Haan, Patagonia, M-edge, GelaSkins, Vangoddy, Belkin and more.

For example: Cole Haan has many Hand-Woven Leather Covers for Kindle 2 that are indeed stylish, although they are rather pricey. This custom covers, made exclusively in India of hand-stained New Zealand leather.

I should say that they are not for those who would rather have something mass produced in China or for those who don’t care to stand out from the crowd or draw attention. They are absolutely beautiful! I figured many might start ordering it. There is a strong chance that you will be quite unique as it is are rather pricey. For those of you who don’t know, Cole Haan is amazing and is actually worth the price you would pay for their stuff. I have one of their purses and about 5 pairs of shoes. The purse is the softest thing I’ve ever touched and the shoes make my feet sing. Seriously, their leather is like butter.

Patagonia Book Case for Kindle 2, is nice, but I think it needs handle, like a wristlet purse. The Case is designed with padded, internal compartments to keep the Kindle 2, the power adapter, the clip light, and any additional accessories tangle-free. Self-locking zipper on a front pocket ensure that contents stay in. Most probably it’s may be wonderful for protecting my Kindle 2. But, I still think..

Belkin Neoprene Case and Nomadic Polyvinyl Messenger Bag, are is other are uniquely designed products for Kindle 2.

Nomadic Compact Stylish Polyvinyl Bag is a carrying bag, made as a pouch style opening with drawstring for an easy access and 5 multi-use interior pockets covered by a secure velcro closure. It is Ultra-light and Slim so I can carry it wherever I go.

Belkin case made of high-grade leather and neoprene fabric in stylish black color. I think that is a wonderful case, but there has to be a better cover than the Belkin for a wonderful product like my new Kindle 2.

Next, M-Edge Kindle covers they look lovely. I have an older M-Edge case for my kindle 1 and I do wish they’d change the closure. I wish the closure was magnetic instead of just a flap – like some of the journals you can buy in bookstores.

The new M-Edge luxurious leather Jackets allows access to all ports and buttons on the Kindle 2 and are is compatible with the M-Edge e-Luminator booklight. It has a solid front and back construction and can be used as a bookstand for upright, hands-free reading. My friend purchased the red case and I have to say it is VERY nice. It is a really nice soft buttery leather, the smell of leather alone is wonderful, the feel of it in my hands is sensual – I like it a lot, but I would prefer other brand in leather.

Yes, I want to buy a new cover for my Kindle – 2, but I am still not sure about what’s the best cover for me.
I am struggling to continue searches.

I guess people describe me as spontaneous, funny, intelligent, and spunky. Well if you have any time?’s We can chat! My article about the New Kindle 2 Cases.

32Gb Ipod Touch 3Rd Generation Best Purchase

*** 32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation User Reviews…

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation – Upgrading from iPod touch 1st Gen, Wow!

The 32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation is just fantastic compared to my old 8 GB 1st gen iPod touch that still works-though with its limitations. The speed of this new one is so many times faster than the old one, now wi-fi web surfing is very usable with quick page loads within a few seconds.

Other internet apps also load data and screens almost immediately. This alone makes me wish I upgraded sooner. But the new features go way beyond speed…32 GB memory ample for much more music, videos, pictures, apps. Very useful built-in speaker (wish it was louder sometimes), and the new earbuds and mic capability for voice, recording and skype calls.

The included apple earbuds have fairly weak bass response, putting on foam earbud covers helps a lot with the bass. My rating is 4.5 stars–Hoping Apple adds Flash support, doubles the memory, and camera/video capability in the next generation of the iPod touch.

32GB iPod touch 3rd Generation – My Favoritest Gadget Ever!

I got my Apple 32gb ipod touch 3rd generation on Saturday (1/20/10) and it has already proved to be my new best friend.

In no time I had all my music on my computer downloaded – although I have a ton more to go (I’m taking music from cassette’s and putting them on the computer – then to my Ipod) :) .

My calendar has all my appointments in it and by setting the notification alert – it already saved me from being late for one and it reminded me of a birthday I would have missed.

Since I love to read – it was a breeze to download Kindle for Iphone / Ipod and add several books (free books at that) – it’s almost too easy to read the books on this mini computer. Thanks to the timed shut off – it shut itself off when I fell asleep reading last night. Totally awesome.

My mail is all set to go to my iPod and I have received several already. Even the junk mail. :( But I have already sent several emails with this toy and gotten responses back. Nice . . . .

My contacts synced with my email contacts and I’ve added more – which in turn synced with the email account. Too easy.

With the weather icon, I can keep track of the weather in all the cities that my family and friends live in.

I’m not much of a gamer – so I haven’t downloaded any games yet, but give it time.
Everything that can be thought of is available out there as an app for this thing.

I bundled my 32gb ipod touch 3rd generation with the Ematic 11 in 1 Accessory kit and have already used the ear phone splitter and house charger, as well as the screen protector. Husband put on the screen protector and did an awesome job. I used the included back cover until my leather one got here.

I also got the Encore Music Power charger – charged that up, took it to work with me last night and recharged the battery on my Ipod so I could continue reading my book on break.

It is not a phone – although there is an app for that, :) and it does not take pictures (that’s what a Nikon Cool Pixs is for) – but I loaded it with pictures that I wanted to share with family and friends and they look great. So easy to zoom in and out.

In all, I would recommend this to everyone – it is super easy to use – not to mention a really cool gadget.

The Best GPS System How Do You Figure This Out

Finding the best GPS system is like buying the perfect car. It’s all relative — to you! The perfect car for me would have to be able to survive two rowdy kids, a dog, sometimes two cats, and a wife who routinely picks up junk (Oh, excuse me, they’re called collectibles) on the side of the road. It would have to be roomy and maintenance free. For someone else, the perfect car would only need two seats, a rag top, and be able to do 120 mph easily.

In order to find the best GPS system, you have to first understand what they generally do and what are the usual features, then define what you want it for.

By GPS systems, I’m specifically talking about the after-market car variety. You know, the kind you see perched on people’s windshields at the grocery store. I’m not talking about the in dash kind that come with some cars, nor am I considering the hand-held varieties you would take on a long hike. The after-market systems are usually called portable GPS receivers, or systems, and that’s what I’ll call them here.

Basically, all of these portable GPS receivers do exactly the same thing. They show you where you are on an electronic map, and they tell you how to get where you want to go, be it down the street or somewhere across the country.

All GPS systems work off of the same network of satellites that ring the earth, and most of the portable ones even use the same types of receivers. So, the differences between makes and models are not in how they work or what they do, fundamentally, but in the bells and whistles that come with them.

Virtually all GPS systems come with the following:

* Voice prompts that tell you where to turn
* Touch screen
* Large database of “Points of Interest” (locations of hospitals, ATMs, McDonalds, etc.)
* Choice between 2D “map view” and 3D “bird’s eye” views
* Automatic route calculation
* Choice between shortest and fastest routes
* Come preloaded with maps of the 48 states

The main optional features to consider when buying a GPS system are these:

* Does it actually say the names of the street you need to turn on as you approach it?

* Do you need a widescreen version (4.3-inches diagonally as opposed to 3.5-inches)?

* Do you need maps of Canada, Mexico, and/or Europe?

* Does it support Bluetooth technology, which allows you to use your GPS system in conjunction with your cell phone to make hands-free calls? (Which essentially makes it a windshield mounted version of those little ear clips people walk around with.)

* Can you enter multiple routes into the unit and have it calculate the best route to get to all of them? Say you were in an unfamiliar city and you wanted to go to the cleaners, the grocery store, the movies, and a local dentist all on one trip. Could the GPS system calculate the shortest possible route to get to all of these?

* Does it have real-time traffic and weather report capability, and can it use that information to re-route you around traffic jams?

* Can you use your device to listen to music (mp3) or to look at digital pictures?

* How big is the Points of Interest database?

There are a few other features that major manufacturers include. Magellan, for instance, has hooked up with AAA to offer their Tourguide information actually on the GPS itself. Tom Tom has this neat feature where users can make map changes and upload those to Tom Tom’s computer database which makes them available for everyone else. And Garmin is coming out with a new unit in 2008 that will learn to recognize your voice so you can enter commands by speaking instead of typing on the touch screen.

So, in order to find the best GPS device for you, you need to first decide which of these optional features are necessary, and which you might like if you can afford it.

You can get a basic GPS system for under $200. The Garmin nuvi 200, for example, has all of the basic features I listed above. It comes preloaded with regional maps (not the entire United States). If you want to spend slightly more, how about the Tom Tom One, 3rd edition, which at the time of these writing (early ’08) costs slightly less than $200 at Amazon and comes with real time traffic capability and Tom Tom’s MapShare (where you can uploaded changes).

Virtually all of the Magellan Maestro series is currently in the $200 to $400 range. You can get the more basic 3210 for around $250, which has millions of points of interest and, of course, the AAA Tourbook, or you can spend about $100 more and get the 4250, which includes all that the 3210 does and adds Bluetooth, voice recognition, and real-time traffic.

One of the most popular units is the Garmin nuvi 350, which does all the nuvi 200 does, but includes Garmin’s “Travel Kit”, mp3 capability, picture viewer, world travel clock, calendar, and more.

Deciding can be difficult, but don’t put off buying one, though! GPS systems are great. Once you have your first one, you’ll wonder how in the world you got along without it.
