How Do I Get My Blu Ray Player To Play My Movie?
I just bought my movie sideways on blu ray, and it wont play on my insignia blu ray player, it keeps going to the title page every time I select play. The movie isnt supposed to come out til tuesday, is that why its not playing?? Or do I need to update something, if so, how? Thanks

Update your player’s firmware as instructed on the following page(verify that is actually your model # since you did not provide it in your OP):http://www.insignia-products.com/t-NS-2B…
If you have a “bootleg” copy then that is your problem. If you would have said you are having problems with playing Blu Ray disc then I would have said you need to update your firmware.
I highly suggest you do not buy bootlegs and play them on HD – it is like putting regular unleaded in a Ferrari. You’ve paid a boat-load of money for HD quality, but you are putting camcorder quality, with terrible lighting in your Blu Ray.
I am a huge advocate for paying for music downloads and movies. Please consider the effort of even the labor guys on the set of a movie. If movies do not produce the expected revenues it is not the actors and big guys that take a pay cut first. They want to cut the lower end guys first. Consider going see the movie at the movie theater.
The #1 rule with Blu-ray players is “Update the firmware”. The #1 rule for all entertainment media is “Piracy=stealing”. If you have obtained your copy via legal means then I can tell you the movie’s release date has nothing to do with whether or not it will play.
